FREDERICIAより発表された「MIKADO」で2004年に「Danish Design Award」を受賞。2007年にはプロダクトデザイナーとして名誉ある「フィン・ユール プライズ」を受賞。

Everything is possible. This is the message from the Danish designer, Cecilie Manz, who received the Danish Design Award in 2004. In her own design studio, Cecilie Manz strives to combine conceptualism with the Danish penchant for durable materials and sublime, craftsman-like finish.

強化ガラス製の下面カバーにシルクプリントされたアクセントラインはグレアカット(ライトの反射がまぶしく光らないように自動防眩する機能のこと)が施され、「ブランクーシ」からは快適で柔らかな明かりが溢れます。。
Brancusi is a suspension created by Cécile Manz for Light years. The smooth curves of this lamp form harmonious and organic lines in the room, and with a little imagination they are reminiscent of a water-polished stone. Brancusi is in its element in rooms with a high ceiling, where its superior light easily illuminates the entire room and its large surface complements the dimensions of the room.
